How to deactivate a user in Zoho One
Why deactivate a user?
A user is often deactivated when someone leaves your business or is no longer working with you. By doing this you retain all of their information but free up a user licence. The user can be reactivated at any time in the future.
How do deactivate a user in Zoho One

You must be a Zoho One Administrator to perform this action.
- Open https://one.zoho.eu (or you local Zoho One account if outside the EU).
- Click the Directory icon in the top-right of the screen.
Note: If you screen looks different, you may be using the old Zoho One user experience. In that case the Zoho Directory icon is in the bottom left of the screen.

- In the Directory Settings, click Users on the left-hand side.

- Hover over the user you want to deactivate, click the 3 dots icon, then click Deactivate.

- Choose Deactivate on the pop-up which appears after, this will be followed by a confirmation message.
